We’ve upgraded our filtering capabilities for Opportunity Stage Change Alerts and Gongs so that you can now create alerts for specific teams, record types, products and more.
Why would you want to do this?
Let’s say you’re a large sales org and each sales team has its own channel. You can now create a gong that only fires when members of your team close a deal in Salesforce as one example use case.
Or let’s say you use Record Type to distinguish various product types. You can now customize an alert for each type of product like when an opp is created.

We Also Fixed The Messy Links
A lot of you mentioned that you wanted to call out different team members within an alert like SDRs or AMs in addition to an opportunity owner.
We’ve done some work behind the scenes so that now all links within the alerts display the appropriate text instead of a messy link.
This means you can call out folks like SDRs, AMs, or other collaborators by adding the relevant attributes in the last step of our alert builder. *This works for all linked fields.
