Troops is looking for a highly motivated marketing leader who can help us accelerate sales pipeline with our most important accounts.

You will be responsible for driving new sales pipeline through inbound & outbound channels, as well as honing our messaging and brand strategy.

For the first time ever, enterprise messaging platforms like Slack are being adopted and deployed by companies all over the world at an incredible speed. Troops has a front-row seat to building the most powerful applications on this platform and others like it.

We’ve helped hundreds of companies make this shift and we’re looking for our first demand generation hire to help us rapidly reach the massive group of companies out there that need our help! You’ll be given ownership and autonomy and will bring creative ideas to the table to help shape, refine, and perfect our process of helping grow our customer base and brand.

Roles and Responsibilities, and Outcomes
• Help us identify the best ways to capture interest from our target customer segments
• Define and hone messaging in campaigns, sales support material, and on our website
• Educate and evangelize to the market why this new way of organizing your sales and revenue information is important
• Work directly with the sales team to determine the best way to start conversations with and win target accounts
• Run experiments against various channels to identify the biggest growth opportunities and repeatable channel fit
• Bring fresh perspective and ideas about how we message our value proposition to the market

Troops is looking for its very first, high-energy, motivated business development reps to join our go-to market team.

You will be responsible for driving new business for the sales team by sourcing, qualifying, and starting conversations with new potential customers, working closely with the Account Executive and Marketing teams, and demonstrating Troops’ core values: Positivity, Growth Mindset, Transparency, Ownership, Customer Obsession, and Self-Starting.

This is a unique opportunity to get a front-row seat at a high-growth startup working with some of the fastest-growing companies in the world and backed by top VCs. You will learn from and work closely with proven startup veterans in a B2B environment on an exciting product in a new space, with the opportunity to quickly graduate to a closing role.

Primary Responsibilities
• Thoughtfully build relationships and interest in Troops with executives and managers, through a combination of email, phone, and social outreach
• Develop new strategies for successfully engaging potential prospective customers. We have a successful playbook, but we’re looking for you to enhance and expand it further.
• Hit the ground running - absorb the playbook and be ready to start contacting new prospects 10 days from start date.
• Work closely with the Head of Growth, Account Executives, Product, Marketing, and other teams to improve processes and help us build a more successful product.

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background required

Troops is looking for a motivated account executive to be a part of the foundational sales team.

We are looking for a high-energy, execution-oriented seller to drive revenue. You will be responsible for creating opportunities, managing a pipeline, and winning new business while demonstrating Troops’ core values: Positive, Self-Starting, World Class, Taking Extreme Ownership and Radically Transparent.
