We are looking for a ‘builder’ and self-starter. You are okay getting your hands dirty if that is what it takes to get the job done. You will work with and report directly to the CEO and you’ll be working on strategic projects which include, but are not limited to, implementing and streamlining our revenue operations, managing and updating our financial models, contributing to strategic product planning, conducting monetization and competitive analysis, researching market sizing for new opportunities, and more. As a member of the growth team, you’ll be helping us execute and scale operations and processes as we go to market with our product. Troops is looking for a seasoned and passionate world-class developer to assume a key role on our engineering team. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter, excited to work on a small collaborative team, passionate about clean and maintainable code, has a proven track record of designing scalable applications, strong understanding of DevOps, zero-downtime deployment procedures, and relational and no-SQL databases. Knowledge or desire to learn Scala or prior experience with other functional languages is a huge plus.
