Troops is the easiest way to use Salesforce directly from Slack and automate key Sales workflow to help teams make better decisions. Simply, we’re building software for people that need to get work done the most efficient way possible - in a messenger interface. We know that’s vague, because we’re building something revolutionary, but the bottom line is we’re helping these people do their job better by creating a delightful and intuitive experience.
As a member of the growth team, you’ll be helping us execute and scale operations and processes as we go to market with our product. The projects you’ll be working on will vary, and will include both getting your hands dirty with our data processes as well as helping us figure out how to best add value and reach our growing number of users. The focus will be on executing against experiments we use to determine progress and success and helping us learn incredibly fast.

We live at the cross-section of conversational interfaces, artificial intelligence, and simplicity. To help us build towards this vision, we’re looking for a self-starting individual to develop and apply data analysis techniques to help us solve tough problems and make better decisions. You’ll be expected to perform data driven analyses within all departments of the organizations, and provide actionable insights towards building a world class product and organization.
Troops is looking for a seasoned and passionate world-class developer to assume a key role on our engineering team. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter, excited to work on a small collaborative team, passionate about clean and maintainable code, has a proven track record of designing scalable applications, strong understanding of DevOps, zero-downtime deployment procedures, and relational and no-SQL databases. Knowledge or desire to learn Scala or prior experience with other functional languages is a huge plus. If you lead by example, demonstrate excellence and constant desire to learn and are excited to solve tough challenges while having a lot of fun with your co-workers, we want to hear from you! This position is full-time and based on-site in New York City.
